I suggest pointing them towards the trunk. Not toward the seat. I think it is louder...well it was with my 15" solobaric L7. Plus it will look good seeing the amp, x overs and subs all from the trunk opening. By the way, it doesn't matter what shape the box is, as long as the volume is what the sub manufacturer calls for.
