That's the weird thing..it doesnt slam(shift) into gear ...it just shuts off...

Check the BOO (Brake On-Off) switch (brake light switch). When you hit the brake the TCC is disengaged. If the switch is bad or out of position this canā??t happen and the engine will stall under hard breaking. If it stalls every time you put it in gear then you have real TC problems. During normal breaking the TC will unlock during the down shift to first.

Hey...thanks for that advice...i'll definitely try it and certainly hope is the problem...just a little question...
where's is such switch located and is it changeable?
