Ok guys, on a serious note...

If it were possible to be serious...

I've already ordered up some new brake pads and shoes. I'll be doing those this weekend. I can't afford any new handling advantages such as strut tower braces or bigger wheels/stickier tires. After the accident, the car will have to go up there basically stock. I'm taking a full size steelie in case I have a blowout, that way I don't have to wheel around those turns on a donut. When I get there, I'm going to take the two 10s out of the trunk as well. (I'm leaving them in for the trip up cuz I like mah moozik).

Any other sensible ideas? Is this place really hard on brakes and tires? Is that totally dependant on your pace through the turns? I'm sure some of you that've been up once already know better than I.

Just looking for some sensible ideas before I start packing for this thing.
