Searched the archives and could find nothing...

What I want to know is how can a speedometer be recalibrated? For instance, if I change my stock 98 mystique gauges(10-130mph) to SVT gauges (?-160mph) can I get my car to mark the correct speed and mileage? I want to keep my same stock tire size as well.
