sounds like it maybe related to the EGR valve stuff????
to see if the egr valve is working you remove the plug to the IAC idle control selenoid... then put vacuum to the
vacuum port on the EGR and pull a vacuum on the EGR... if it kills then the EGR is working.... thats what i remember.. so it could be the IAC ??????
