sounds like you arent releaseing the clutch properly. Usualy on a cold start you have to be a little more careful with letting the clutch catch to make it a smooth ride. Just let the clutch out a little slow, as for another thing, dont push the gas down then let the clutch out, do it the other way arround, that will make the clutch last a lot longer. Im pretty sure you dont need a new clutch, as show signs of death usualy they slip then engine will rev hard but you wont gain a lot of speed. As well as The contour's clutch is really durable, most of the people on this site still have the origional clutch and the other ammount that doesnt has had to replaced it at abotu 160K-170K miles. If after you try my shift method you still have bucking when letting out the clutch, take it to a transmission shop and have your transmission fluid level checked, and find out if you need to have it changed.
