Yes it does come on, but it's up around the "L" when it does.




If your thermostat hasn't been changed before, and there are no obvious coolant leaks, my guess is that your thermostat is getting lazy...be good insurance, anyway. And while you're at it, change the PCV valve [between x-man and block, held in w/ 1 bolt that is located just above trans/just below outlet housing]...it'll be real easy to replace, once you remove the housing.
