You'd be going a little faster than 140 if you only had 1000 left to redline (assuming that is even what you're talking about.) Redline in 5th gear someone figured out to be somewhere in the 170's, so unless you have a s/c or 3L or a turbo with a slipping clutch, I doubt it.
