You can't use only and $80K in the same sentence

Congratulations, Jason. I know you have been through some bad times the last few years. I hope you can get some more experience to land you something better. You really need to get to Detroit, though as you could/should be making 30-50% more with your experience.

and yes you can use only and $80k in one sentence. It all depends on where you live.

Congrats on the new job , Jason ! It's about time something went your way . Too bad 'bout the Jersey part though .

At least you got loads of mileage out of the SVT before it puked , probably much more than most . Get that puppy runnin' again & get a-drivin' !! You don't want to make it a "race only" car , and you know it !

APT: Proof I'm on the East Coast - I got asked by 3 different people, "Where did you go to undergrad? I've never heard of GMI - what's the school like?" Gave them my stock "it's just like Drexel" answer.

Allen: I think I've come to the conclusion that the Contour isn't capable of being my daily driver. Now, stripped down on the inside, with a blower and a 3L, a custom chip, some drag slicks/auto-x tires, a stiff suspension, and some huge brakes ... could be a real sweet 1/4 miler AND do some damage at SCCA.

unisys: It's an oldie (late 80s, early 90s) Rodeo. I'm pretty sure they were still using the GM 2800 back then. Which is fine, b/c that's a darn near bulletproof engine. I'll find out in a week when I go pick it up.

I'll definitely be getting EZPass. No way I'm stopping to toss 3 Washingtons out the window every day for long. And I'll be able to buy in to the discount, use-it-or-lose-it plan.

No kids, but I say that because I make a bit more than that now. Going from $40k to $80k was a big deal, similar to going from $7.50/hr to over $50k.

Congrats on the new job. You've earned it after all the crap you had this past year.

EZ Pass is a beautiful thing. You'll love it.

And the early Troopers/Rodeo'd did have the might 2.8L chevy engines which make it nice and easy when something breaks. Much cheaper parts than Isuzu's parts.
