Well, not really. See, the thing is, that motor is blown (yeah yeah, spun bearing, blah blah). Now maybe I'll be able to get up the money to make it a race-only car.

For now I'll be rolling in my aunt's Isuzu Rodeo (with the lovely GM 2.8L V6), which is borrowed until I can scratch up a grand to buy a commuter beater.

Good luck p-dawg with your interview!

Well in that case, I have $20 and a lawn, not that it needs to be mowed.

Damn that sucks that you blew the motor and I'm sure with the money you will be making at this new job u will have your car built and fast as hell. Personally if I were you I would make it well rounded car that could be driven all the time but yet is fast as hell instead of a race only car but none the less good luck with the car and your new job

Where is this company located? I work in south jersey as well (FAA Tech Center in Pomona). Are you going to get EZ-Pass? If you don't have it yet, you should definately get it, it is a life-saver, especially if you are commuting over the bridge everyday! How many years experience do you have?

Check that, I checked out the website, and it looks like you will be working in the Blackwood area. I live not too far away from there in Williamstown.

maybe if you stop posting so much, and start job-hunting, you would find a job!

The 2.8 is 4 cylinder. The V6 avaliable for the Rodeo is a 3.2L . No big deal though. Congrats on the job!

I just put in an application at a Cooper Tire factory, in Tupelo, MS, and the starting pay is $14.50 an hr. I mean, how can I turn that down? I don't have the job, as of now, but the schedule is 12 a day for two weeks and a week off.

Childs play!!

Many Cheers again for your job!

That's kickass dude! I know you had been bummed for a while about jobs and stuff. If you where used to making 7.50/hr, hold on to your horses! Try not to go crazy with the money, either. I remember when I was only making $80k, it seemed like we had more cash than we knew what to do with. Luckily, a house and a big ass Lincoln came along and now we have levelled out
