Well, my Tour will turn 8 this weekend. Been wondering that long about a plastic cover next to the glove box release that opens...and exposes nothing! It's a '96 GL. I think all the '96 models have that whatever it is.
Does anyone have something under that cover on their Tour?

It is a purse/bag hanger, IIRC.

Hehe. It's not a "cover", it's a Hook!
You can put a bag there and keep it from sliding all over the floorboards. It comes in handy if you buy something you don't want shifting all over the place, like maybe a cake or something.

It was intended to be a trash bag hook, but it is too far over to be really uselful. As someone else mentioned, it is handy to keep shopping bags from sliding around.
I actually sort of miss having one.
