I've always figured that the fun of modding a contour comes when you're at the track. You take a car that half of the world thinks is a Taurus and the other half thinks is an Escort...mod it up, and you go to the track and totally blow the unsuspecting competition out of the water. Whats better than that? But I guess to each their own. You shouldn't give up on your car though...there's so much you can do for cheap...I say keep going and it will all be worth it.

Unless if its just the track, mt car seems to be slower than the average tour with any type of mods. I've probably spent 7-900 dollars on intake and exhaust and i'm still slow. Unless i can find a turbo or supercharger for cheap, i'll just mod my mustang and just keep working on my contours appearence
