Edit: I have a feeling that if you use the spray can you will get less results than using the pure liquid. Reason being the spray can is aerosol already. If you let the intake charge mix with the liquid itself, I think that would be more effective. Hell, I say if you're going to use the spray can, just open up the port and spray away.

I disagree on that...

The way I did it, to get at the TB as well, is to loosen the clamp right behind the MAF. Then insert the litle red tube right there...then spray like mad..making sure you operate the throttle with your hand..taking it past 3500rpm to open up the seconderies and get them clean as well.

When I did this...the UIM became so cold from the spray, it almost hurt to rest my hand on it while I sprayed.

And..as the ingredients on the spray and liquid are exactly the same, and in the same order, and both contain 16oz...I say do the spray and make your life easier.

Oh...make sure you change your oil afterwards...

If you go this easy route, you may need to unplug the MAF to get the engine to run while the proceedure is being performed. Easy & no harm to the MAF.

Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.
