If you end up going to Disney, get all of your meals in the World Showcase at Epcot. Much better food, much less crowded than the rest of Disney, & a few leasurely ride thingies to go on while you digest your meal. You can even pick up some nice German beer & wine to take back with you.
Line dancing at Cowboys is a lot of fun. I figured you might wanna teach them 'big city' folk a thing er two.
I don't know what you're into so I'll throw out:
- Kennedy Space Center (waaaaay east on Hwy 50).
- While you're in the area, visit the Warbird Museum. Nice folks run that place. Let me sit in a retired F-14.
- Billy Lane has his Choppers Inc. shop in Melbourne.
- More in Orlando: All kinds of dining, golf, and other tourist attractions like Medieval Times (go hungry & be prepared to get dirty)
If you've never been, try Bahama Breeze for lunch one day - the seafood ain't bad.
If you like Italian, try Palma-Maria's if it's still there. Best Italian food in the state.
