Where I live, no one gets tickets for exhaust. A cop once told a friend of mine to get rid of/un-open the cut-out on his truck but that was only because the cop actually saw the cut-out while the truck was parked. We have exhaust laws, cops just don't care here, and I doubt the judges do either. I think Florida is pretty lax on it too. I have no muffler/resonator and my exhaust is annoying as can be, but cops don't care. (Soon to have a muffler)
