Th last bottle of Meguiars Endurance (medium gloss) I had to order direct from Meguiar's b/c all I could find was the high gloss, and I don't like too much shine to my tires. Anyways, it had been quite a while since I had bought any, and this new bottle isn't really a gel, more of a liquid. It makes a real mess on my driveway as it doesn't stay on the sponge and gets my hands all sticky. Anybody else notice this problem? I love the stuff other than that! I hate to switch, but I am ready to throw this bottle way and get something else. The Top of the line stuff look interesting, is the $4.95 bottle a gel? The "tire dress express" looks like a nice applicator too, as long as it doesn't deteriorate like the Eagle 1 things do. I also second the bleche white. I scrub the tires each wash and could probably get away w/out tire dressing htey are that black. Before I used this, I had a thick film of Meguiar's on there, I think it almost filled in the letters!

Personally, I like the teflon based product that Dupont makes. Shines good, lasts long, and repels road grime well. Teflon is the stuff in the bottom of non-stick cooking ware. Dupont makes a whole line of that stuff for inside and out of the car. I love it all.

Nope, a liquid. I applied it w/ an EO tire swipe... If you're having problems with em, try buying tire swipes at the dollar store. If they fall apart, hey, it was only a dollar! TOL has lots of stuff.

But that is what you are using? The price looks right though! I am using the Eagle one swipes now, I can't complain about them that much. I really liked teh ones that Meguaiar's used to include with the gel though.

Try using a foam. In my experience, it works better, easier to use, and I haven't seen any spots from it (then again I haven't seen any from the sprays I've used either).

Naw, my car is red. You do let the foam disappear off the tires right. Like give it a couple hours to make sure?

Spray your dressing on a rag or sponge, then apply to the tires. You are getting "overspray" on your paint, that is why you are getting spotting. It also nice, if possible, to let it bake on before driving, that is with any kind of dressing.

I spray it like in the evening and leave it there for the night, I'm always cautious of overspraying too, hmmm. I think I'll try those tire shine gell things
