not onlyu is this stoopid, it is illegal. you want to melt the paint off the car? if he has an SVT, he wil melt the bumper because it wraps around the pipes.

NOT TO MENTION it will kill the motor. the car will have to run soo rich that gasoline gets out of the cylinderr and into the dxhaust system in liquid form, then it would have to treavel all they way through the exhaust system, vitought evaporating...not an easy feat. and a lot harder than andding a spark plug and a coil. not good for motor at all.

not true actually....propaine injection before the plug near the tip wirks like a charm, and it does nothing to interfeer with your cars electrical system.

a seperate coil pack(from a v-twin motorcycle if you have dual outlet) gets switch power from the battery to give the plugs some spark...a push button selonoid on the tank releases propaine into the exhaust gases wich is ignited.

there are systems that can cause damage to your engine if you don't change you oil more regularly(those wich are wired into the ignition and burn gasoline)

not trying to slam you, but there are engine safe methoods out there.

ok i consider myself edumacated. i work alot with older big bloick V8's. i was under the impression that the only way to safely throw flames was out the sides. with a system that goes header, pipe out from under the doors...

but now that i have my head out of my ass, that makes sense...but you still have to worry about having muffler tips that stick wayy out beyont hte bumper for fear of melting/charring things...or at least, i would anyway...

The only info about that stuff I ever came across was a reference to a so-called "Anarchist Cookbook" (IIRC) where one could find this how-to along some other crazy stuff like recipes for making explosives, etc.

There is a kit out theere that will let you do this. What happens is you rev the engine up and hit a switch which cuts the spark to the sparkplugs to allow raw fuel to get in the exhaust, then when you let go of the switch everything goes to normal. From there it hits the spark plug at the end of the tail pipe and ignites. This is only a momentary flame and nothing constant unless you run the engine really rich as stated above. This s not good do do on any car with any kind of cat converters. All the raw fuel sitting in them is not good at all!!!! And once again, this is not safe at all, even for show off the street.
