Damn straight! Honestly, I think I'd rather go with the Home Depot kit, it's not so important to me that things look good that I need to pay ten times the price! I'm personally just afraid that I'd screw something up. I read when people were doing the "ram air" kits using the fog light holes and having stalling trouble, so I'm not so sure I trust my judgement in that department as I have zero expertise.
Has anyone here done a full Home Depot custom job. I know some have cut a lot of the air box housing off, but I'm talking full monty. My friend has a HD Special for his Subaru RS and he loves both the sound and the breathing.

Hey guys, just be glad someone is actually making stuff that will work on our cars. laugh Or else we would be stuck like about 3 or 4 years ago when there was hardly anything.

So, what you are saying is, if you could find an intake that gave you 20HP but it didn't satisfy your aesthetic eye you wouldn't buy it....something that sits under the hood of your car.....and you are
in the performance section why?

so no one here ever lifts the hood of their car to show their engine or clean the engine bay?
the weapon r intake screams rice. i want more power as much as the next guy, but i'm not going to sacrifice the looks of my car, inside or out. i'd rather have my k&n and not have a couple extra horses.

How is something that produces HP rice? This "term" is so double standard it's not funny! if something is built to maximise performance, weather it look bad or not, if it TRUELY adds HP, thats not "Rice" thats "Performance"!
