I had highway drone with the Magnaflow resonator and stock SVT mufflers. It drove me nuts to the point that I had to get rid of the exhaust. I bought a Borla catback. I am very happy with the sound now. Just a little louder than stock with a nice burble when you stift gears slowly. Only thing I'm not happy with is the muffler tips placement. They could be centered a little better, but my mechanic says that is the best he could do without hacking the system. They are every so slightly off, but I'm a perfectionist. I've learned to live with it.
I really do like my Borla though. If cost is a factor, you could look into a Truebendz system with a Borla muffler.
