Flacoman,
that page shows the piston for the 2V 4.6L engine. If that piston doesn't work out, the pistons for the 4V 4.6L engine are identical except that the "dish" is recessed only .060" instead of the .152" like the 2V.
Or you can probably get just about any shape you want from an aftermarket company but the OE ones may be cheaper. Or they may be alot more, I'm not really sure.

As for the 3L pistons, they are domed .027".
(According to the Federal Mogul Piston Catalog).

Verry interrresting.
The 4.6 piston just might be the right ticket. If the 3.0 rod can be hogged out to make the pin fit , and offset slightly to get the compression height dead on ,the result would be just about 9.5 - 10 /1 smile
Boost could then be readily applied eek

I'd be VERY interested to see how this turns out. Do you think there is enough meat on the rod to do this?? If there is.. will it hold together with the higher mass of the larger piston at high RPM??

I'd love to see your results, lemme know.. please!!!1

Wellllll....
The other option is to open up the piston's pin hole, and bush it . That would also provide for a floating pin. Not at all bad.
Guys, feel free to chime in with any other thoughts

I love this thread..

If this works out right, I'll be doing the same thing.. bucko horse power in a well thought out manner.
