It is the sensor referred to as the ECT. Not the sensor for the instrument cluster guage. I just got the radiator out, and it is pretty well blocked with bugs, etc. So far it is the only weak link. I'm about to put the new one in. I would still love to get info on testing the resistor that's mounted to the fan before I have to put it back in. Thanks to everyone for their help so far.
