Not trying to get annoying or anything but do you take the headlights & cover out? OR do you just outside of the headlights covers?
Also, I didnt see where it says how to take them out

Whether u have to take them out depends on the nature of your hazing - if it's just the outward problem or inner condensation inside of the headlights' housing. Outward problem might be corrected with Plastix and elbow grease, whereas the inner condensation requires the disassembling of the entire thing.

Now to take to headlight assembly out - u will have to unscrew 3 bolts - IIRC - 2 are easy to spot - they are on the same level as the top of your headlights - and one is kinda deeper set.

You just sand the outside of the headlight, not inside. The spider-webs are on the outside, and that's what you'll be removing. I didnt see how to remove the headlight either, but i just sanded while they were on, i found it easier.

I just did this yesterday and the results are amazing. I have the mequiars kit comming sometime next week to finish them off.

my left headlight is hazy and i tried to clean it with the plastic cleaner but it didnt get it back to as clear as the right headlight. i think the hazing is actually on the inner side of the plastic. is there any way i can remove the plastic section for cleaning?

Yeah the hazing is on the outside of the light to take off the headlight lift your hood there will be 3 screws one on the left of the headlight, another on the right. The third screw is down deep behind the headlight. After you take off the screws you can just pull the headlight directly out.(BTW don't mess with the Long screws those adjust your lights aim)

I bought some 2000 grit sandpaper from Walmart for 3 dollars. First I wet the headlight with my soapy towel and proceeded to sand the headlight(by hand)... after about 30 minutes of sanding(make sure you keep it wet) I brought out the Sander, hooked up the 2000 grit sandpaper to it and went over my work(for about 15 minutes) afterwards it looked great. You'll notice that they will still look hazy afterwards...this is because you need to apply wax to it. Most people I've seen use Meguairs plastic wax( or whatever its called) but my dad on a whim(and accidentally) sprayed my lens with Meguiars Tire shine and as I rubbed it off my all the hazing went away. I found that pretty odd so I sprayed the rest of the lens and sure enough the thing was super clean afterwards. So that would be what I'm advocating for the job even though I'm sure the plastic wax is far better.

BTW don't give up on the project just because it doesn't look like the sanding is getting you anywhere. All the results seem to happen at once. And its definitely a worthwhile thing to do when you drive at night as much as I do.

thank you. i had no idea it should take that long. i will try wetsanding them again and see how it goes, but the way it looks to me is almost that there are calcium deposits, or some sort of build up on the inner side of the lens. one person said they did encounter that. how did they correct it, or did they have to buy a new headlight?
