As for the thieves: the bank [censored] up when canceling my moms debit card; so the thieves have been using it at gas stations all over the Detroit area.  Luckily the bank is going to reimburse everything.
Most cops are good guys, it's the system they're forced to work in. Course, I've have 2 cars broken into, lost alot of stuff (in my own driveway--not a bad section of town) and nothing happened. They are leaving a paper trail so maybe something will come of it. Hope the detectives are following up on it.
