I can't figure out why someone hasn't figured out a way of making a CAI that pulls in air from the fenderwell. I traded in a 93 Sentra SE-R that had a Place Racing CAI on it, and it really added some HP to that little four banger. However, it wasn't so much the positioning of the filter in the wheelwell as it was the length and diameter of the pipe. The CAI was designed so that the combination of the length of the pipe and the fact that this CAI actually began to taper wider at the end I think are the reason it made about 8 HP at the wheels.(It was dyno'd in Turbo/high tech performance magazine) BTW, to install this CAI, you had to actually cut a section of metal from around the stock air intake hole to make the pipe fit correctly. Why can't some company build soemthing like that, instead of a "CAI" that sits right where the air from the fans hit??? There was a company that was talking about building a similar system to this, but I think all they make right now are Mustang and T-Bird parts ...Does anyone know the company I'm referring to? confused
