The "problem" with the stock fresh air duct in the fender is that it is kind of convoluted and really doesn't draw "cold air". The temp thing is an under hood thing and the snorkle can't help much. i tried the hose to my KKM and saw NO difference in performance. The only change was the noise level was reduced a bit.Better off with a heat shield around the filter.
