The reason why I'm saying this is I have the SVT fender air draw on my 96 SE! I noticed it a few months ago while cleaning my KKM. It's a plastic "egg" shaped (best I can describe it) open end and the pipe runs down my fender. Havent taken a "real" close look at it, but does every other Duratec engine have this too? It's almost like it's "ready" for an SVT air box if the owner chooses to install one, its ready for them to do so. Not sure if i'm talking out of my a@@ or not, I'll take a pic of it and post it in the pic and video forum.
The SVT fender piece isn't "egg" shaped. It is round.
I have installed an SVT are "box" on my '95 SE. I thought that maybe I could get the stock rubbe piece that fits between the air box and the fender to fit on the SVT piece. No go. I think I need the SVT hose from the TB to the MAF sensor. The hose is not long enough to allow me to get the right angle on the air box to hook it up to the fender.
