I'll agree with Antiramie, The sound is awesome and there is a power increase. As to the exacts, my guess is as good as any. According to Weapon-R HP gain is suppose to be around 8hp. We all know that for the most part though that this type of a gain is almost impossible from an intake. 3hp However, is more like it. -Nate http://members.home.net/nate.is

Its not impossible to get that increase in power just from an intake. Import Tuner mag even had the dyno results published for the Weapon-R (although it was tested on a Prelude) but there was a 7 or 8 HP increase. BTW Nate...do you know how to take the filter element itself out of the chrome or colored surrounding to clean it? Whats the procedure? Also...can you hook me up on the rankings a little, hehe.

Antiramie, To take the filter out you will need to use a small allen key to remove all of the little black bolts around the base of the filter. After they are removed just slide off the cover and pull out the filter. As for cleaning .. Don't bother... a new filter will only run $10 from most places online. Its easier that way. Plus the weapon R filters really don't seem to last after a few cleanings. Hooked you up with some 5 star action.. -Nate http://members.home.net/nate.is

SVT_Nate,
Is that foam filter single stage (only one type of oiled foam?)
How thick is it?
I'm weary of its filtering efficiency...

Mangler, There is only one stage of foam and it is oiled. The oil isn't thick at all however and is more like what is used on the K&N filter elements. It seems to be pretty efficient so far and does add power. -Nate http://members.home.net/nate.is

Hey guys, I recently purchased a Weapon-R from a guy on this site, but it seems to be missing the chrome piping and the filter's caged housing. Where might I get that stuff??
The filter that he sent is completely dry. What kind of oil do I need?

I have a Monsterflow with a ghetto pipe adapter right know, and it seems to be working well for me. i like the piece of mind of two stage oiled foam... To oil, I recommend foam filter tack oil from amsoil. Stickier than the K&N stuff, formulated especially for foam. And pretty cheap
