Well, the corrosion issue is present regardless of the type of foam. After owning an 87 Acura Intergra and having the floor and sunroof rot out, and putting two (!) floors in my 85 300zx, I am paranoid about the stuff.
As for the issue of the rocker panels, it should work. Ford did this to the Mustang for 1999 to stiffen and quiet the car.
I wish Demon would have been able to give me the info on the exact foam he used, because it apparently did make a difference for him.
And I agree, we should not sour over a difference of opinion. Let's throw water on these flames we're sending back and forth! Truce?
