Many people claimed differnt 1/4 miles between the 99-00

Really?
Car and Driver gave the 99 CSVT a 15.2 in the 1/4 mile. And I don't think the 98's were too far off that either.

that depends on who you are talking to. my ford documentation says the slower time but motor trend said the other.

from what I hear, ford usually gives pretty conservative stats.

Well these are times from the 98 and 99 brochures that i got from Ford when i was originally going to buy an svt back then. And i have the svt calender that offers the information!!

well the ford people must have been on pcp at the time, i've seen old motortrends that have the 96se at 7.9 0-60...svt's are deff lower 7's maybe even seven flat for the strong runners........who in the hell would believe a company that lied about the size of the engine in its most famous car for a decade or more, or lie about its hp rating more than once.....look in your svt manual and check out the speed it says you can do in each gear...do they look right to you??? i can do most of those in my 96, well except for the 145mph

"Magazine bench racing"

SVT = 7.1-7.4 & 15.2-15.4 @ 90-91

Non SVT V6 MTX = 7.5-7.7 & 15.8-15.9 @ 88

Nothing else matters...

2000 SVT #674 13.47 @ 102 - All Motor! It was not broke; Yet I fixed it anyway.

Something else is that the top speeds are different. It says 143 but I kno i have gone faster then that, (Usually when i go that fast, im not looking down at the gauges) but i think i had shut off at 147 or somewhere around in there.

Speedo isn't very accurate at high speeds, and if you were going downhill or had a tail wind, then yeah that could factor in.
