Mine went on/off for a few months for no reason even when the fluid level was an inch above "full." When I installed the LEDs in my dash, I removed the bulb. This is the first car I've seen with a lamp for the coolant level. I would rather have had a low fuel lamp like my previous car. My Wife used to run out of gas all the time in her Contour and a light would help. She has a Tribute now which has one. She will need to replace that lamp some day soon the way she drives.
So she needs a light to know when to put gas in? I'd rather be advised on low coolant in case of a line busting and over cooking the engine.
