You know what I mean, mount "to" diff, not mount to trans, like a "transaxle".

is the car brand new or used, cuz i noticed a slight color shade difference in the rear part of the car, where the body meats the "rear bumper". i happen to be really picky about that kind of thing because i've had a car that was in 4 accidents due to my sister and they never were able to match the color, but it could just be me.

It would be IMPOSSIBLE to find a car guy more picky on finish than Roger.

The problem with America is stupidity.
I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment
for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety
labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

That's very possible. Another possibility is that the rear bumper IS a shade different than the rest of the car. This is common on a lot of new cars. The reason is that an additive known as "flex agent" is used when painting bumpers (and only bumpers). The reason for the flex agent is to prevent the paint from cracking if/when the bumper flexes. It seems that on some cars this flex agent ends up altering the paint shade slightly. Keep a close eye on brand new Audi A4s and Infiniti G35s and you'll see exactly what I mean. Look at the rear bumper, then the rest of the car, back and forth and the color difference becomes more apparent. I don't know why, but this phenomenon is particularly evident on these cars.
Sweet Vette btw!
