Yes the trans is in the back,mated directly to the diff. But that definitly does not make it a transaxle, becuase the axles are still in the differential, and both can be removed seperate from the transmission unlike a "transaxle".

Yes, C6's are a slightly larger vehicle, little wider,little longer(the chassis is like one 1" longer).

Uhm...actually, the C6 is smaller than the C5. In length alone, the C6 is over five inches shorter. Their goal was to get it down to Porsche Carrera size. In design though, I believe they failed.

letme get this straight, he sold 2 of his cars, to buy one car that he can drive for about 4 months of the year? I hope he has a winter beater. Otherwise, pretty nice.

Your link didn't work. I said chassis, chassis is 1" longer to accomodate the xlr. Thats a fact, from the horses mouth I guess you could say. Been there seen that.
