HI im Pretty New to this board and i have a few questions I was hoping some of you that are knowlageable abou the SVT contour could help me with. IM coinsidering Buyong one and SUpercharging it but i have alot of questions.
1.What all am i going to need other than what comes in the Vortech kit? like MAF meters/chip/plugs etc...i mean i want a very complete combo so i need to know what stock parts should be replaced?
2.Reliability Is a Blown Contour going to last and be reliable enough for a daily driver?
3Install how involved is the instalation? is it a major undrtaking?
4. Results..what kind of times should i see Really i should ask about MPH becuase ET will vary quite a bit. im talking about a few bolt ons and a S/C.
5.What year SVT is going to be the best for a power adder? i know some years have lower compression and when did Ford switch to the returnless fuel system? basically what year is the best to start with?
6.NOS? anyone running it? what about this is it a good option? what kind of results are you getting and what shot can an SVT run?
Sorry about all the questions but i really want ot learn more about this.
