Why would you guys run 225/45/16? The speedo is off with that size, and I can't really see that they'd offer a performance gain over 225/50/16 (which is almost dead on w/the speedo)...
As for tires, I'd also look at the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's... I just got mine and so far they've been great (I haven't pushed them yet though)
