Hi

I'll be passing through St.Louis around the 4th/5th of next month. I'm looking for suggestions on somewhere to stay close to the highway (I70/270) and close to public transport if possible (I'd like to see downtown St.Louis & a Cardinals game).

Motels are fine by me. I'll be driving a 15ft UHaul + trailer.

You can park that rig at Chez BOFH if you'd like.

Belleville has several metro link stops.

I'm a little out of the way however. I'm near I64 and Illinois 15.

There is not much that I can think of where you can park such a rig, stay in a hotel and walk to the metrolink.

If you'd like, you can park the trailer at my house, keep the truck, stay in Fairview Heights, IL and drive the truck to a metrolink stop when you want to go to the game.

I'd offer to let you stay, but I'm going to have my daughter, so I'm not sure that would be cool with the wife.
