My head unit doesn't have a function to turn the auxillary input on or off...

I have read the manual over and over, and I havn't seen anything in there about it. I also sat around in the car for a while and just played around trying to figure it out. I'm wondering if I'm just that dumb, or if there some other aspect im missing...

FM Transmitter Im sure someone else posted something like this (im lazy and dont feel like reading everything) But if all else fails you can go to the Apple store and get this FM transmitter, they also have a cheaper one for 20$. Cheaper FM Transmitter

The FM modulator is a decent idea, but I already bought the cables for the RCA inputs, andthe quality on a modulator isn't a clear. I just need to figure out how to activate my auxillary input.

Well, still no luck, I have been searching around the net looking for help, but getting nothing. Any other thoughts? Or is it time to go into a car audio store and start asking questions, and unfortunately dishing out cash too?
