When you get your pessure gauge working, turn the key to on but don't start the car.
You should hear the fuel pump prime see what the fuel prime pressure is.
The fuel pressure should be between 30-45 psi (210-310 kPa)
Mine was priming at 5 psi, not good new fuel pump time.
