If there is a noticeable diffrence while the gas gets lower...then its a bigger chance it may be fuel pump....If it was IMRC it wouldn't nessicaraly get worse the lower you fuel would get...The less performance would be the same.

Best thing to do, Check all your connections on the IMRC, check the mechanical connections of it to to make sure all are opening. But the next time you get, see if it really does bog with less fuel....and you problem may end up being fuel pump related.


EDIT: on the A/F guage....i wouldn;t think anyhting of it...its just a light show right now....it did that to my car when my 2.5 liter was stock (now i ahve a 3 liter). Id say don;t trust it if it is not wide band.
