I finally got my exhaust in and unfortunately do not have any pictures to post yet. For those who don't know, I've been working on a custom dual exhaust for the past couple months. I started with the infamous Cardoctor exhaust with a SHO Shop y-pipe (a really cool set up, by the way), but I decided to swap that out for another design. This is what I did:

I got an x-pipe built and installed on the two SHO Shop pipes that run off the manifolds. From there, I have two flex pipes which lead into the x-pipe. Downstream of that, I have two "resonators" in parallel. I got the resonators built up for me from Jondel Motorsports in Europe. I got a good price and the construction was top notch. It was pricey to ship here, but it was well worth it. From there, my pipes run around the gas tank and lead to two 4" Banzai Billet Cap resonated tips. My car has a more refined tone now and I love it. A few things though...for some reason, I am getting a lot of vibration around the point where the secondaries open. I put in my Superchip to make them open earlier and the transition is much smoother. The flex pipes I have are very stiff and need to be broken in. I'm heading off to Europe today, but I wanted to let everyone know what I've been working on. I'll post some pics when I get back and try to get a video clip which allow you to hear the sound too. I'll keep you posted and talk to you in a week!!! laugh laugh

Sounds good, but will it pass emmisions? or is that even a concern? Post pics when you get back from Europe.
BTW you can pick me up a ST24...err I think that's what they are called.
Thanks

So.... No mufflers? Cool! Can you produce a sound clip for the group? If you want, I can host the clip on my server.

NYKnicks guy,

Good work on a cool exhaust.

Where do you live in Farmington? I just moved into a house just west of downtown, near Gill Road.

Hello everyone. I just got back from an unbelievable trip in Europe and I finally got some pics of my exhaust. I finally got the ideal sound/performance balance I was looking for. I will work with Chris Hightower to get some sound clips ASAP. I may wait until I get my headers installed since they are coming next week, but we'll see. Please let me know what you think laugh

Oh yeah, I finally got rid on my vibration problem. The person who installed my mufflers hard mounted the mufflers to the body. I replaced it with two rubber hangers and viola...no more vibration.
