If any of you have Comcast cable or Verizon DSL, let me know how your experiences have been. I have Verizon DSL now in MA and it's been great. The advantage of cable though is that I can ditch my land line and just go to a cell. Any comments appreciated. Thanks. Bless our servicemen & women overseas. DSL has faster ping times but a lower top end while Cable has horrible ping times but a huge top end. If you're just web surfing or gaming DSL is generally faster, but if you're a download junkie (movies, MP3s) then you need that extra bandwidth that Cable offers. I ran Cable in the Portland area as well as where I am now and have experienced few problems. It's sort of like comparing a NASCAR to a drag race car. They serve different purposes.
