So... u tell yourself... hey, it costs some money to give my car a better power to weight ratio. Well, lets look at the other side of the equation....WEIGHT.
Steps To Acheive 14's:
1 - You're going to need a nice, relatively twisty road... where the SVT shines.
2 - Travel down the road at about 50mph... not excessively fast... just fast enough to be fun.
3 - Follow a Cavalier into the first corner... watch him trail-brake and have the rear of the car come around.
4 - Watch the Cavalier spin back and forth, while you make your decision to either T-Bone your friend in the Cavalier, possibly killing him and receiving a ticket... or go around the Cavy and put the car in the ditch.
5 - Execute plan #2... take the ditch and steer out of it as best you can while clipping a tree, numerous bushes, a mailbox and a few other odds and ends.
6 - Keep on the gas to keep from going deep into the trees, pull back on the road, and just keep driving... saving yourself the agony of stopping to look at the damage just for just a few more minutes.
7 - Check out the damage, call ins company and set up a claim.
8 - Restrain yourself from strangling your friend in the Cavy... and try to realize that accidents do happen and thankfully nobody was hurt... cars are replacable... friends are not.
9 - But hey... at least I have a 14 second car now!
Check it out! :

The repair process at ford begins now... these guys are wizards with body work... should come out nice!
Hmmmm... now we just gotta make this part fit...
So... In the meantime... have fun pimpin' in the rental car... and... since it's a lancer... we figured it was meant for dirt roads

. It's actually not a bad little car.
So... total damages roughly 6,000... nearly totalled. Almost decided to just get a new EVO VIII... probably will soon... but, for now... the contour still has some life left in her... and it will be done in about a week or so. I will post some more pics of the completed project. Wish me luck! Sorry for size of pictures and novel-length.
