Let me just say I zero experience driving a car with this much boost at the track. Here is the run down. The track apparently was in bad shape using my friends cars as comparison. My friends STI that consistantly cuts 1.6 60' did 1.8. My friend with a Turbo stang cut a 2.2 60' when a 1.9 was not uncommon. Without further delay.

2.568 60'
6.601
9.573
83.396 mph
12.017

E.T 14.151
MPH 111.258

This was on my street program at almost full weight. With that kind of trap speed I should just about be in the 12's. It tried the race program and it was ridiculous trying to get traction in the first 2 gears. That one came out to be 14.576 at 110.910 MPH. I think a 2 stage boost controller will be a must if I continue to race this car. It is an awesome daily driver so I might just get a POS with a good motor swap to play with at the track.

Eh, nice try!

Top speed=

1/8 trap speed= So you're problem now is just that you don't have any traction? Is there a Quaife for our cars?

Where's traction when ya need it!?
Have you filled your motor/trans mounts with shore 94A urethane yet? How wide of a tire are you running?

Yes theres a Quaife and IIRC Keyser has it.

Street tires? With that much power no FWD car would hook on street tires! Throw some DR's or some slicks on there and thats not just a 12 second pass, but with that trap, a mid - low solid 12!

Not to rain on anyones parade here, but I doubt a 12 sec pass would be mad. My buddy trapped in his SHO at 108 and ran a 13.5. I think a 13.0-13.2 would be possible, MAYBE a 12.9. But I think that will take a lot of practice! I DO hope you get into the 12s though!!!

Good work on that motor!

I ran a 13.2 at 108.5...I don't feel like I drove the best possible either. (no not my Contour) I think I could have maybe broken into the 12's with some practice. It was so hot that day though!

So ah...did you timewarp while going that fast?

A 111 trap eh? Not bad, although the attitude around suggests you expected the time to be a lot lower. But what do I know about drag racing.

Congratulations, and don't feel bad. 111 was about the TOP SPEED of my old Contour.
