Try driving those on the Interstate in the rain when they're on backwards. Ever see a Contour float at 60 mph??

I live in Arizona, it rains like once a year...and it really doesn't make any difference on dry ground.

But anyways, when I had new tires mounted...they mounted 1 the wrong way and one the right way. So I've got 3 tires turned in the right direction and one the wrong way. I was eventually going to get the tire unmounted and the re-mounted the correct way but I've been without my car for a month and a half due to a blown headgasket. So that has not really become one of my priorites.

Have you ever done it? I seriously doubt it makes a big difference. Like I said, tirerack tested it, driving the car to the limits. Don't you think if it would cause hydroplaning at 60mph, that it would cause a big loss of control doing fast laps.

where ya find a true cold air intake kit? placing the air filter down near the fender, would that be a problem in the snow and rain? Could I inclose the back of the filter so just the front is exposed? Or is the weather just too bad livin up in canada?

I used a CTA Intake and GMK Cold Air Intake Extension...paid $165+60 total. If you're worried about getting sh!t in your engine you could always buy an AEM bypass thing (I'm forgetting what its called) and install that. The back end of your filter will be protected by the fender liner so no worries there...and last I heard it took a filter being flooded to hurt the engine.

CTA Intake
GMK CAI Extension <<<this is actually a link to pics of the person who makes these. You'd have to go on NECO and send him a PM to get one.

You're gonna have to drill a 3 1/2" hole in the area under the fuse box to run the piping through.
