Sorry to hear bout the car. Having a car stolen really sucks. I know what it feels like to have it done. It happened to be before with my Civic too. It really sucked waking up and leaving for work to find nothing but broken glass and fiberglass scrape marks at the end of the driveway from the body kit. $4000 in mods gone just like that.
I hate to say this but just like everyone else said, don't expect to find anything left of it if you get it back. Civics are stripped for anything and everything, stock or not. Mine was found a week later in one of the worst neighborhoods in the state with nothing left on it at all, sitting flat on the ground without even blocks underneath it.
Good luck with finding the car, I really hope everything works out.

If I was a car thief why waste time with a Civic? Not like you're going to out run the cops if you get caught. Must be the money made off of them. Why not steal something fun?

Well they found it. About ten miles form the house. They put about 600 mils on the car and beat it up. The tow company couldn't tell us anything about the car but they "think it is all there". I was like, "the car is sitting in your yard and you can't tell us anything." This was the ladies responce, " It has a broken window and a few dents". I was like no [censored] how do you think they stole it.
Going to look at it tomorrow. I'll take some pics.
Later,
Eric

Most don't understand that theives aren't looking for "fun", but quick cash.
Also, Contours aren't popular with chop shops, so don't worry.

thats cause they are hard to steal. PATS prevents it (if you have it) if you dont, ford made the wiring kinda funny, not easy to hotwire. the easiest part about stealing a contour is getting inside it.

I proceeded to take out my 18" retractable baton and sneak up on him. Let's just say after 3 HARD hits to the knee with that and you cant run very fast . Sry, bout yer girls car, peices of [censored] like that need to die or get a job and earn some damn money.

Hondas and jeeps are very easy to steal and are the most common, I have a few friends that are cops and when they "kill time" they run every plate that's either of those makes just in case. I had a custom '96 Grand Cherokee running 35's.....it was sick. It had the top end Python alarm which WAS armed, and it was still stolen. It's never been found, but that's why I have my SVT now....so it's all good
