1. Custom or Euro gears will prolly be expensive as heck
2. Quaife sells a gearset, check NFS UK, don't know about specs.
3. Even if you get a custom burnt chip to raise the rev limiter, you'll still have to shift to 4th. I do.
My limiter was set @ 7400rpm, and I would hit that about 30-40 before the line.
My 93.8mph trap speed proves that.

Hell, if you're going to do that, you might as well put the guts of the SVT Focus MTX in your SVT's housing. 6-Speed, then add quaife.

Someone had stated that the trnas mounting flange had changed to adapt the 6 speed. I don't want to start any new rumors, but can anyone prove me wrong? I don't think it will even swap out with the other Foci... anyone on a Focus list to be able to search this out?

Actually I think one of Terry's projects was going to be to find a way to get the 6 speed SVT Focus tranny to adapt to the Duratec bolt pattern.

I really don't think we will know about the focus 6-spd until it hits the streets. Though I will ask around to see what I can find.
It's all about balance.
