i thought that i read a few post which were written from a ford mechanic can any one help
blk 1998 svt contour custom paint by taylors house of color sho y pipe and hi flow converter fms 9m wires open element filter and sloted cross drilled roters

we are all ford mechanics if we want to or not... we own fords and have to be mechanics or have deep pockets...

Well... ive been dealin with alot of problems with the Contours, got a problem tell us

I have read a bit of the Ford manual, it doesn't help me much. People what have done it here and the FAQs are the best resource yet. I am sure i will hit a point where what i need to do will be beyond my ability or available equipment, but until then, i will keep plugging away with the help of the CEG.

Even if I don't do much of the work myself, it sure is good to be able to hear about and talk about problems so if I do have to take the car to the shop I know what is going on before I get there. That way I know if I am are getting honest service.

bottom line, i love this site. some members can be a bit rude at times, but i have yet to come on here with a question and not get a fast, true and very helpful answer. mad props to CEG and all its members. and maybe they arent being rude, and are actually being sincere. its just so hard to tell on the internet sometimes. thats why i always try to keep the utmost respect when posting.
