While driving to work a few minutes ago, I had a clicking sound coming from the center console of my Mystique - it's an ATX. Sounded alot like the solenoid that unlocks the shifter when you press the brake pedal, but I was on the highway...
I don't have the schematics for that portion of the car (
todras , I'll be getting in touch with you soon!) so I'd like to know if anyone has had the problem before - and yes, I did search...
I can't dismantle the console until monday, but I'd like to get a head start... my feeling is that there is a relay somewhere that's acting strange, because the solenoid shouldn't be activated unless the car is in neutral or park, and the brake pedal depressed... Anyone??
