Should I use the diffuser screen that came stock on my SVT intake with a Proflow MAF? Its the same inside dima. as the MAF adapter so its not really restricting, except for the screen part.

I think I'm going to use it so is there any reason not to?

Yes!

It is smaller in diameter then the MAF opening thus causing a flow blockage and disruption.

Besides there is no provision for it anyway between the Pro-M and a properly sized MAF adapter.

The adapter I have is smaller (inside dima.) then the MAF.
It came with my BAT filter.

So I should:
A) get new MAF adapter and filter. (Dont really want to.)
B)Chuck the screen and open up the adapter to match the MAF
C)Leave it the way it is cause the intake pipe is about the same dima. as the adapter.

Which I dont have.

So you are putting a Pro-M behind the restrictive stock airbox and opening?

That would be pretty pointless to have a restriction before the "larger" MAF.

Either match the adapter to the MAF or buy one that fits...problem fixed.
