If they're not used, trade 'em in for some Autolite APP764s and maybe a Mobil 1 oil change.

Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

Nothing happened, he is just affraid of what would have happened. I don't really know, but I never had any problems with them.

I got my car with them in, 30k miles on the plugs and they had developed a slight backfire when I downshifted, but that was at 30k miles! Everyone is so affraid of them, they are not better then autolites, but they didn't look that bad after I took them out. If you havn't used them yet, trade them in, there are better ways to spend money.

Go ahead and spend your $40 and use them.

That will make it all the more pleasurable for me to laugh at you in 2 or 3 weeks when you come back here bitching about them and your newly found issues.

Bosch +2 & +4 plugs are a marketing gimmick. Nothing more.
Plus on top of that they use the poor quality Bosch platinum plug as a base to start from. (i.e. exact same POS plug but with only 1 standard ground electrode)

my problem with them is not due to anythign bad, its mainly that your paying more form somehting that does the same damn thing as Autolites or Motorraft!!!

Basicly the spark is going to go to the cleanes prong (where the most metal is showing) and its not going to go to the dirtiest....so your only getting the same effective ness as a Autolite DP.

Also, a question that iv been meaning to bring up....wouldn;t having 4 prong spark plugs run the risk of casuing pining or detonation????....cause thats a lot more metal in the combustion chamber to heat up.

Lupe

edit: I ahve used them before in my privious car...in about 3 weeks and 1000 miles later, i was misfiring in 2 cyl. It was a hyndai tiburon running stock 10.1-1 compression ratio.

Since that experienced i ahve never used them...never will again...besides...too expensive for what they are.
