Go ahead and spend your $40 and use them.
That will make it all the more pleasurable for me to laugh at you in 2 or 3 weeks when you come back here bitching about them and your newly found issues.
Bosch +2 & +4 plugs are a marketing gimmick. Nothing more. Plus on top of that they use the poor quality Bosch platinum plug as a base to start from. (i.e. exact same POS plug but with only 1 standard ground electrode)
Already spent the money. I ordered them so I dont think I can return them. I know it was stupid, thanks for reinforceing that fact. So what in your allmighty opinon are the plugs that I should get?
Motocraft or Autolite double plats.
Part numbers i believe are in the FAQ at the top of this forum.

Actually, they are a step BELOW the APP764 because only the center electrode is platinum in the +4 plugs. The remaining ground electrodes have no platinum.
Furthermore, that many electrodes does a terrific job of quenching the spark from the plug - defeating one of the primary goals of a properly designed plug.
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

**Double platinum plugs** APP764 is the Autolite part number for Motorcraft AWSF32PP They can be found at Autozone for $3.99 each. Motorcraft AGSF32PPM is the Motorcraft plug of choice. Harder to find though. Quoted from myself from the FAQ... (what a novel idea to read them )
2000 SVT #674
